Halloween 2006
Year of the Brick
| While digging up the abandoned
stairway running partway through the yard, among the varied types of stones
which formed the border I unearthed a single ancient brick of deep obsidian
hue. Surely there can be no rational connection between the discovery
of this object and the mysterious disappearance of the contractor or the
peculiar smell emanating from the fridge. Still, I find the Dark Brick
oddly fascinating. Come, behold it with me.
