September 2002, Anna and Irene had confirmation that the party concept not
only led to a fun evening -- it led to artistic progress. They presented
the finished version of Issue 1 - "Origins" - to the crowd and
manipulated the guests into buying copies. 25 people attended, most with
art--some finished and some in progress. This year's presentations we capped
off with a folk music sing-along and play-along, led by Anna's guitar- and
ukelele-playing friend Brett Johnson, whom she met while taking classes
at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Late night partiers also enjoyed the
re-airing of Dan Biemer's two New Year's Eve New Millennium Special Guest
Videos between 1 and 2 in the morning. |
